Brewers beat Mariners in Cactus League

March 9, 2010 By Bill Scott

Prince Fielder drove in a pair of runs and Corey Hart hit a solo homer in the Milwaukee  Brewers 6-2 win over the Seattle Mariners in Cactus League baseball action on Monday.

Left-handed starter Manny Parra struggled with his control early but settle down to work 3 scoreless innings.  That extends the Brewers starters scoreless innings streak to 11 straight innings to start the season.

Third baseman Mat Gamel returned to the lineup for a short period after missing three games with a sore shoulder.  His return was short-lived, leaving after 3-innings.  Gamel is considered day to day.
