The Milwaukee Brewers shut down left handed pitcher Chris Capuano for a few days after he was diagnosed with inflammation in his pitching elbow. Capuano had been experiencing lingering soreness after an exhibition outing against Cincinnati almost a week ago.
Capuano is coming off of his second Tommy John surgery and is trying to return as a starting pitcher.
In two spring outings, Capuano has allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 4 1/3 innings.
