Bucks 6-game win streak ends in Atlanta

March 1, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Bucks 6-game win streak came to an end on Sunday, 106-102 to the Hawks in Atlanta.  It’s the first Bucks loss since trading for John Salmons, who finished with a season-high 32 points.

The Bucks took a 5-point lead in overtime but coach Scott Skiles said his team faltered with a chance to put it away down the stretch.

Jerry Stackhouse added 20 points for the Bucks, who had won six straight on the road and six straight overall before Sunday’s loss.

Joe Johnson scored 9 of his 24 points in the overtime, and Josh Smith had 22 points and 15 rebounds for Atlanta.
