Chiefs sign former Badger, Chambers

March 9, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Kansas City Chiefs have resigned unrestricted free agent wide receiver Chris Chambers.

The former Wisconsin Badger standout joined the Chiefs last season and played in a total of 9 games.  Chambers finished with 36 catches for 608 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Chambers was Miami’s second round pick in 2001.  He played in a Pro Bowl in 2005.  He then spent 2007 through 2009 with San Diego before being released and signing with the Chiefs last season.  Chambers has 57 career touchdown catches and over 74-hundred receiving yards.
