Point splits baseball twin-bill with St. Norbert

UW-Stevens Point and St. Norbert College split a Sunday doubleheader at DePere.

St. Norbert College won the opener 5-4 and dropped game two 8-1.

Tony Jandron hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 7th to win it for the Green Knights in the opener.

Scott Williams held SNC to one run on 8 hits in nine innings for the Pointers in game two.  Stevens Point (7-4) is ranked No. 15 in D3baseball.com’s top 25 poll.
