State Hockey Tournament opens today

The WIAA boys and girls state hockey tournaments open today at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.

Boys Quarterfinal games today (Thursday)

Superior (16-7-1) vs. Eau Claire Memorial (21-5-1)  11 a.m.
Wausau West (25-1-1) vs. Wisconsin Rapids (13-11-1)  1:15 p.m.
Stoughton (24-1-2) vs. University School (15-7-3)  5 p.m.
Green Bay Notre Dame (26-1) vs. Madison Edgewood (18-7-2)  7:15 p.m.

Semi-finals Friday at 5pm
Championship Saturday (around 2 p.m.)

Girls Semi-finals (Friday)

Mosinee (24-2) vs. Green Bay (23-4)  11 a.m.
River Falls (22-4-1) vs. University School (19-6-2)  1:15 p.m.

Championship game  (Saturday) noon
