Tauscher gets 2-year deal with Packers

Mark TauscherMark Tauscher has reportedly re-signed with  with the Green Bay Packers. 

Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters at Green Bay Packers FanFest on Friday indicated he was optimistic about resigning Tauscher. 

According to reporter Jason Wilde of ESPN Milwaukee, the deal is for two years.

The deal comes after the Packers re-signed Chad Clifton, Nick Collins and Ryan Pickett to new contracts.  Deals for Collins and Pickett were announced at FanFest.

Tauscher returned to the Packers midway through last season after recovering from a torn ACL in week 14 of the 2008 season.
