Valimont steps down at Arrowhead

Carl ValimontArrowhead hockey coach Carl Valimont announced his retirement on Tuesday, leaving after winning 7 conference championships and the 2009 WIAA State title.

The former Milwaukee Admiral compiled a 178-68-9 record in his 11 seasons as the head coach of the Warhawks. 

The Warhawks had a 49-game league winning streak from 2001-2006.  He finished with a 69-4 Classic 8 Conference record over the last 9 seasons.
