A mixed bag at the Masters for state golfers

April 12, 2010 By Bill Scott

Madison’s Jerry Kelly shot an even par 72 at Augusta on Sunday, finishing 3-under par for the week and tied for 12th.  His top-16 finish also means he’ll be back for the 2011 Masters.

The news wasn’t as good for fellow Madison native Steve Stricker.  Stricker shot a 1-under par 71 on Sunday, but finished at 3-over par for the tournament and in a tie for 30th place.
