Geoffrion starts fast with Admirals

April 19, 2010 By Bill Scott

Former Badger hockey star and Hobey Baker winner Blake Geoffrion scored two goals in his Milwaukee Admirals debut on Saturday, helping lift his new team to a 6-0 win over the Chicago Wolves in the opening round of the American Hockey League West Division semifinals at the Bradley Center.

Geoffrion had signed a contract with the Admirals on Friday.  He and his new teammates will play game 4 of their best-of-seven series tonight at the Bradley Center.  The Admirals need a win to avoid falling behind 3-1 in the series.
