High marks for the Racing Sausages

When it comes to sports mascots, the San Diego Chicken still rules the roost, but Milwaukee’s “Racing Sausages” are holding their own according to the voting public.

The “Chicken” ranks first in Forbes Magazine’s survey of the 10-most-liked Sports Mascots. 

The Brewers“Racing Sausages” made a strong showing in the rankings, finishing 4th behind the “Chicken”, the “Phillie Phanatic” and “Mr. Met”.  The Phoenix Suns Gorilla rounds out the top 5.

Forbes polled the public on awareness, appeal and team recognition of more than 50 major sports team mascots.
