It’s on to the playoffs for the Bucks

April 15, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Bucks closed out the regular season Wednesday night with a 106-95 win over the Celtics in Boston.  The win gained the Bucks a split in their 4-game season series.

Boston rested it’s top three players, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett, keeping them away from potential injury heading into the playoffs.  Jerry Stackhouse and Luke Ridnour scored 17 points each for the Bucks in the win.

The Bucks will open the playoffs on Saturday as the 6-seed in the Eastern Conference and will take on the Atlanta Hawks.  The Bucks, without injured big man Andrew Bogut, will be underdogs.  Head coach Scott Skiles said he’s concerned about their team defense entering the post season.
