Rough start for Brewers top draft pick

April 13, 2010 By Bill Scott

Eric ArnettWisconsin Timber Rattlers right hander Eric Arnett (pictured) would like to have his 2010 debut back.  Arnett struggled early, allowing 4-runs in the first inning in Wisconsin’s 7-4 Midwest League loss to the Clinton Lumber Kings.

Arnett is the top pick of the Brewers from the 2009 draft and one of the clubs top minor league prospects.  He allowed 5- runs in all, 4 of which were earned, on 6-hits.   Arnett left after 4 1/3 innings due to a pre-determined pitch count.

The Timber Rattlers are encouraged with the way Arnett bounced back and performed after the first inning.
