Snow may return

April 6, 2010 By Brian Moon

A couple of rounds of thunderstorms overnight and into this morning brought hail into Central and Southern Wisconsin. This included moderate hail in Green and Lafayette counties, while the counties of Rock, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha saw pea-sized hail, according to WDJT Meteorologist Chris McGinness. There is a chance of more storms this afternoon and into the overnight.

“Southern Wisconsin has been pretty dry here throughout the winter and early spring so this rainfall we are getting is pretty beneficial.” says the CBS 58 Milwaukee Meteorologist.

Although Wisconsin has seen temperatures in the 80’s this week, Wednesday night into early Thursday may bring a little snow.

McGinness believes Illinois, Iowa and Missouri will likely be harder hit than Wisconsin during today’s storm activity.
