Spitz signs tender, will workout today

April 6, 2010 By Bill Scott

Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Jason Spitz signed his tender yesterday and will begin workouts with the team today.

Spitz was a restricted free agent with a second-round tender.  He’s coming off of back surgery but has made a complete recovery and has no restrictions on workouts.

Spitz is expected to compete with Daryn Colledge for the starters job at left guard.
