Wardle to take over in Green Bay

April 15, 2010 By Bill Scott

Brian Wardle, a UW-Green Bay assistant for the past five seasons, will be introduced today as the new head coach of the Phoenix men’s basketball team.   Wardle replacesTod Kowalczyk who left after eight seasons to take over the head job at Toledo University.

UW-Green Bay has called a news conference for 3:30pm at the Kress Center to announce the hiring.

Wardle was one of five finalists for the job, including Wisconsin’s Greg Gard and St. Norbert College’s Gary Grzesk.
