Wisconsin looking to add to 2010 class

April 7, 2010 By Bill Scott

Ian MarkolfWisconsin men’s basketball coach Bo Ryan will be doing some late shopping for a guard for his 2010 freshman class.

Sophomore center Ian Markolf (pictured), who played just six games in his two seasons with the Badgers, has decided to quit the team and work towards his degree.

Markolf’s departure opens up a scholarship for next season.  It appears as if the Badgers will try to add a guard, a position where the Badgers are thin going into next season.
