Badger women to host Duke in Challenge

May 25, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Wisconsin women’s basketball team will host Duke in the 2010 ACC/Big Ten Conference Challenge.  The game will be played Thursday, Dec. 2, with the tip-off time and TV information coming to be announced later.

The lone meeting between UW and Duke took place in Durham, North Carolina in 1987.  Duke defeated the Badgers 86-66 on that day.

This year marks the fourth annual ACA/Big Ten Women’s Basketball Challenge.  The Badgers are 2-1 all-time in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, with the lone loss coming in 2007 against Virginia.

Wisconsin is coming off a 21-11 season, one of the most successful seasons in program history.
