Edmonds to the DL

May 19, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Brewers recalled RHP Marco Estrada from Triple (A) Nashville, and placed outfielder Jim Edmonds on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique.

Estrada pitched 4-innings in yesterday’s 5-4 Brewers loss to the Reds.  He was in line for his first major league win before Trevor Hoffman blew the save.
