Waunakee’s Maly commits to the Badgers

May 26, 2010 By Bill Scott

Waunakee High School’s 6’6, 220lb tight end Austin Maly has given Wisconsin an oral commitment for its 2011 freshman class.

Maly caught 24 passes for 527 yards and three touchdowns as a junior last season and helped Waunakee win the WIAA Division 2 Championship by beating Kimberly.

Maly is the third known oral commitment for 2011.  He joins Baldwin-Woodville linebacker Jake Keefer and Merrill tight end Sam Arneson.
