Wisconsin and Marquette among NCAA attendance leaders

The NCAA released figures on attendance in men’s basketball from last season.  Both Wisconsin and Marquette are among the nation’s leaders.

Wisconsin averaged 17,230 fans a game last season, good for 6th in the country.  Marquette finished 10th, drawing an average 15,617 fans a game.

Kentucky was the nation’s biggest draw, averaging 24,111 per game.  The Big Ten led the nation for the 34th straight season.

In division 3, UW-Stevens Point ranked 3rd in the country and Carthage College is 5th nationally.
