Brewers Win

June 23, 2010 By Bill Scott

Casey McGehee and Rickie Weeks both homered as the Brewers won their series opener with the Twins at Miller Park 7-5.  Chris Narveson shook off a rough start to notch the win.  Scott Baker took the loss.  John Axford recorded his 5th save of the season by striking out Justin Morneau in the 9th inning.

The win gets Milwaukee off to a good start on their 9 game homestand.  The series will continue tonight as Manny Parra takes on Francisco Liriano.  They will throw the first pitch at 7:10pm at Miller Park.

Audio: McGehee happy to open homestand with win. :10
