Two men stole a car with an eight-month-old boy in the back seat. It happened at a Milwaukee gas station around 10 o’clock last night. The boy’s mother was pumping gas, and she went inside to pay while a man and the baby stayed in the car. Police said the two suspects punched the man and pulled him out of the vehicle and they drove off with the child still in back.
About 35 minutes later, somebody placed the baby on the hood of a squad car outside the police station. A woman alerted officers inside about the baby but before they could get outside, the suspects drove off. They and the stolen car were still being sought at last word.
