Fans support interleague play

Interleague play in Major League Baseball continues to be a big hit with the fans.  Interleague attendance at games this season is up 17.8% when compared to other regular season league games this season.

League play drew an average 28,233 so far this season, while the interleague average is at 33,253. 

The American League had the upper hand, 134 to 118 in games this season, the 7th straight year that the American League has come out on top. 

The Milwaukee Brewerswent 9-6 in interleague play this season.
