Green signs with Omaha of UFL

Running back Ahman Green wasn’t getting any interest from NFL teams,

including the Green Bay Packers, so he signed to play with the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League (UFL).

Green played 12 seasons in the NFL and returned to the Packers last season to become their career rushing leader with 8,322 yards over 8-seasons.

Green is returning to his home state where he starred at Nebraska with 3,880 yards and 42 touchdowns in three seasons. 

The Nighthawks are coached by former Packers assistant Jeff Jagodzinski.
