The Milwaukee Brewers losing streak has hit 3-games following the teams 6-4 loss to the Florida Marlins in Miami on Tuesday.
Trevor Hoffman, who had been so good a year ago for the Brewers, continued his recent struggles, surrendering 3-runs on a pair of doubles in the 7th inning as the Marlins broke a 3-3 tie.
Dave Bush settled down after allowing 3-runs in the first inning, but he had to leave after 6-innings because of a blister problem.
Hoffman fell to 1-4 and his ERA climbed to 11.65. Prince Fielder and Corey Hart homered in the loss. For Hart, it’s his 11th in the last 16 games and his 14th overall on the season.
