Kenosha County manhunt underway

June 15, 2010 By WRN Contributor

A traffic stop in Kenosha County has lead to a manhunt, after a motorist pointed a gun at an officer. The driver of a van exited and pointed a gun at a Town of Wheatland Constable, who fired at least once, prompting the suspect to take off into a wooded area nearby. The tactical response that followed has involved personnel from neighboring agencies, dogs and a helicopter with infrared capability. The man is still believed to be armed and dangerous. Reverse 911 calls to residents of the area warn them of police activity & to be careful.
