June 23, 2010 By Bill Scott

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy cancelled the final day of Packers mini-camp today so the players are now off until the they report to training camp on July 30th.

Linebacker Clay Matthews thinks that the Packer linebackers have grown to one of the strongest position on the team.  The 2nd year player will be joined by Nick Barnett and AJ Hawk as solid starters on the Packers defense in 2010.

Veterans Brandon Chillar, Brady Popinga, and youngster Brad Jones and Desmond Bishop will all battle for the final starting spot this season.
