Yovani Gallardo tied a career high with 12 strikeouts in a 5-0 Brewers win over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday afternoon at Miller Park. The Brewers ace only gave up five hits and didn’t walk a batter to improve his record to 7-3 on the season. Gallardo also went 2×4 at the plate. Rickie Weeks and Prince Fielder both hit homers in the win that gave Milwaukee the three game series sweep.
Milwaukee has won four straight games as Seattle comes to Miller Park to open up a three game weekend series tonight. Dave Bush gets start for the Brewers. They will throw the first pitch at 7:10pm.
