And then there was one! Packers sign DT Neal

July 26, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Packers announced the signing today of DE Mike Neal, their 2nd round draft pick out of Purdue.

Neal was a four-year letter-winner with the Boilermakers.  He appeared in 46 career games, including 23 starts, and finished his career with 99 tackles
(56 solo), including 26 tackles for loss, and 13 sacks.  He earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors from the media as a senior.

Neal becomes the sixth of seven Packers draft picks to sign with the team.  Only first round pick Brian Bulaga remains unsigned prior to the start of training camp on Saturday.
