Bucks Sign Sanders…Deal Jordan

July 9, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Bucks inked first round pick Larry Sanders to a multi-year contract on Thursday.  Sanders was the 15th pick in the first round of last month’s draft.  He’ll be playing for the Bucks in the Las Vegas Summer League which starts on Monday.

Bucks GM John Hammond continues to tinker with his roster.  On Thursday he traded the draft rights to 2010 second round draft pick (44th overall) Jerome Jordan (7-1, 253) to the New York Knicks for cash considerations.

The Bucks still have three draft picks on the roster from last month’s draft.  Milwaukee selected forward Larry Sanders (6-11, 235) with the 15th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft and added guard Darington Hobson (6-7, 210) and forward Tiny Gallon (6-9, 290) with the 37th and 47th overall picks, respectively, in the second round.
