Packers sign 3rd round pick

July 21, 2010 By Bill Scott

Georgia Tech Safety Morgan Burnett will be on-time for Green Bay Training Camp.  The Packers third round selection was signed to a deal Tuesday.

Burnett left Georgia Tech after his Junior year after recording 14-career interceptions with the Yellow Jackets.  Burnett led the team in picks each of the three-years he played.

The Packers have now signed 5 of their 7 picks from the 2010 class. Brian Bulaga (1st round) and Mike Neal (2nd round) remain unsigned.  A note on Bulaga; no 1st round pick from this years draft (32 total) has signed a deal.
