Packers sign rookie tight end

July 13, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Packers have signed rookie 5th round draft pick Andrew Quarless to his first professional contract.

The tight end out of Penn State started 29 games for the Nittany Lions, finishing his career as the school’s all-time leader in receptions by a tight end(87) and second in receiving yards by a tight end (1,146).

Quarless becomes the fourth of seven Packers draft picks to sign with the team.
