Big Ten picks Lucas Oil Stadium for first title game

August 6, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Big Ten Conference has selected Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis as the proposed site for the conference’s first Football Championship Game.  It’ll be played in December of 2011.

The Big Ten Conference said it will begin negotiations on a 1-year agreement.  The site for future Big Ten Title games will be determined over the next year.

The Green Bay Packers are putting up Lambeau Field as a possible location for a Big Ten Title game.
