Brewers return the favor to the Astros (AUDIO)

August 9, 2010 By Bill Scott

After being swept by the Houston Astros a week ago, the Milwaukee Brewers returned the favor, capping a 3-game sweep with an 11-6 win at Miller Park yesterday.

Casey McGehee clubbed a 3-run homer and drove in four runs.  He said the difference between being swept and sweeping the Astros is simply a matter of timely hitting.

Yovani Gallardo got off to a slow start, but settled down to pick up his 11th win (11-5) of the season.  The Brewers climbed to within 6-games of .500 and will open a 4-game home series against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Miller Park tonight.
