Burish shares Stanley Cup with Badger fans

Former Wisconsin Badger hockey star Adam Burish helped the Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup last season.  Burish gets the Stanley Cup for the day today and he’s decided to share it with Badger fans.  Burish was a guest on the Mike Heller Show this week on THE BIG1070, WTSO in Madison.

Burish and the Stanley Cup will be at the Kohl Center from 10am to noon today for public viewing and photographs.

Each player from the Stanley Cup championship team gets the Cup for a day or so.  Burish got it Tuesday afternoon and will have it in his possession through midnight tonight.

Burish will try to win another Cup next season with a different team.  He signed a free agent contract with the Dallas Stars this summer.
