While it might not be at the top of most summer reading lists, a Republican candidate for governor is releasing a new book.
The 210-page book from Mark Neumann’s campaign offers a detailed look at proposals on issues such as job creation, taxes, and health care reform. The former Congressman says the book details his vision of making Wisconsin the best place in America to do business.
Copies of the book are being sent out to libraries, universities, and will also be available on Neumann’s campaign website. The former Congressman hopes it gives voters a complete look at his ideas.
Neumann says people are tired of politicians who offer gimmicks, instead of detailed proposals.
A statement from the campaign of Republican Scott Walker, Neumann’s primary opponent, describes the book as a “self-financed ego trip.”
