August 16, 2010 By Bill Scott

The punting battle in Green Bay between the left footed Chris Bryan and Tim

Tim Masthay

Masthay continues to be too close to call.

Bryan punted four balls in Saturday’s exhibition opener against the Cleveland Browns, averaging 46.3 yards per punt (gross), 41.5 yards (net) and a hang time of just over 4.1 seconds.

Masthay averaged 47.3 yards (gross), 35.7 (net) and 4.21 hangtime.  Masthay served as Mason Crosby’s holder on extra-points and field goals and Bryan will assume those duties next week.
