Janesville to talk jobs with Obama

September 20, 2010 By WRN Contributor

Wisconsinites will be among those who have President Obama’s ear as he participates in a town hall meeting today. CNBC will connect the live town hall in Washington to remote audience at Hhffrrrggh’s, a Janesville restaurant.

M & I Community Bank President Mary Wilmer-Sheedy spoke on the cable news network this morning about her hopes for the town hall, “For us here in this community, it’s really taxes and jobs, and trying to return some certainity to the market so our businesses are willing to invest in the market.”

CNBC selected several locations around the country, including Janesville, to gather perspective for the event. The network will cut to the locations ahead of the town hall as well as after the event for reaction.
