Rodgers goes to bat for Lynch

September 16, 2010 By Bill Scott

With the Packers losing their starting tailback (Ryan Grant) for the rest of the

Aaron Rodgers

season, quarterback Aaron Rodgers was asked on Wednesday what he would tell Packers management if they asked about Buffalo’s disgruntled running back Marshawn Lynch.  Lynch just happens to be Rodgers former college teammate at California.

Rodgers said the Packers haven’t asked him about Lynch, nor have the two players spoken.

Lynch may be disgruntled, but there’s no word of his being on the chopping block.
