Elderly couple found dead in lake

October 4, 2010 By WRN Contributor

Two bodies found floating in a lake near Whitewater have been identified as 93-year-old Birger Juell of Whitewater Township and his 76-year-old wife Anne. Walworth County authorities said fishermen found both bodies floating on Whitewater Lake Saturday. The Juells were dead by the time sheriff’s deputies arrived. Officials said they could not immediately determine how the couple died. An investigation continues.
