Packers add another linebacker

October 27, 2010 By Bill Scott

Within 24 hours of acquiring two other linebackers, the Packers today announced that they’ve added a third.

The Packers signed Erik Walden, a 3rd-year player out of Middle Tennessee State.

Walden was a 6th round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2008 but was released on the team’s final roster cut-down that year.  Walden was then claimed by the Kansas City Chiefs, playing in 9-games before being released.

Walden was then claimed by Miami where he played in six games in that 2008 season.  He played in 11 more games for the Dolphins in 2009 and 2 games this season.
