Round Two for Feingold and Johnson

October 11, 2010 By WRN Contributor

The Republican and Democratic U.S. Senate candidates in Wisconsin hold their second debate tonight in Wausau.

Democrat Russ Feingold and Republican Ron Johnson will square off for the second time in four days at the UW Marathon County campus.

Moderator Glen Moberg of Wisconsin Public Radio says they’re very pleased to be hosting the two candidates and the debate will cover a variety of topics. He plans to ask questions dealing with jobs, the economy, healthcare reform, and foreign policy.

Media panelists will pose questions that candidates will answer separately. There will be a follow-up question and then each candidate will get three to five minutes to openly debate.

Moberg says the debate is drawing quite a bit of national attention, and he expects it to be widely covered.

The two candidates will still meet in one final debate, which is scheduled for October 22nd in Milwaukee.
