Kickoff set for Badgers vs. Northwestern

November 21, 2010 By Bill Scott

The 5th-ranked Wisconsin football team will play for a share of the Big Ten Conference title next Saturday against Northwestern.  The Big Ten says that game will kick off at 2:30 pm (CT).

Wisconsin (10-1) is in a three-way tie for the conference lead with Ohio State and Michigan State.  Ohio State will face Michigan at 11am on ABC, while Michigan State takes on Penn State on either ESPN or ESPN2.

The Badgers beat Michigan 48-28 on Saturday.  RB’s Montee Ball and James White combined for 354 yards rushing and six touchdowns in the win.  Ball ran for 173 yards and 4 touchdowns on 29 carries, and White had a career-high 181 yards rushing and two scores on 23 carries.

Michigan got 360 passing yards and 4 touchdowns from QB Denard Robinson.

The Badgers won for the first time in the Big House since 1994.  If they beat Northwestern next week at Camp Randall Stadium, they’ll win at least a share of the title and likely earn a trip to a BCS Bowl.
