Marquette survives against cross-town Panthers

November 28, 2010 By Bill Scott

Marquette ran it’s record to 38-0 against UW-Milwaukee, but this one wasn’t easy.

Darius Johnson-Odom made two free throws with 5.3 seconds left and scored a career high 29 points as the Golden Eagles pulled out a 75-72 win over the Panthers.

Marquette’s record against the Panthers is the second-longest streak in Division I.  Syracuse is 44-0 against Colgate this season.
