Packers could be thin at safety against Falcons

November 23, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Packers expect to be thin at safety when they face the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday in Atlanta.

Atari Bigby and Anthony Smith were both injured in Sunday’s 31-3 win over the Minnesota Vikings.  Bigby suffered a hamstring strain and Smith suffered an ankle sprain.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that both will be hard pressed to make it back for the Atlanta game on Sunday.
