Packers release CB Harris today

The Green Bay Packers made it official today, announcing the release of CB Al Harris.

Harris came to the Packers in a 2003 trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, starting 102 games over 7 seasons.  He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2007 and 2008.

Harris set the Packers single season record with passes defensed in 2004 with 28.  He accumulated 14 interceptions in his time with the Packers.
