State DOJ joins search for missing woman

November 11, 2010 By WRN Contributor

The state’s clearinghouse for missing and exploited children and adults will assist in the search for a missing Wausau woman. Stephanie Low hasn’t been seen since October 10th. This week Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced that information about the case is being distributed to law enforcement statewide. The state Justice Department will also share its file with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Wausau police believe Low was taken against her will from her apartment on Thomas Street. Her brother says a phone conversation ended abruptly the night she was reported missing. Other friends say she feared for her safety. Low is 5’2″, 130 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She has a pierced nose and scars on her left wrist and right arm. Anyone with information should call Wausau police at 715 261-7800.
