UW student arrested in mom’s death

November 30, 2010 By WRN Contributor

A UW Madison student has been arrested on charges that he murdered his mother this past summer. Twenty-four year-old Chase Boruch was taken into custody Monday night at his Madison residence. The murder occured up in Lincoln County, in northern Wisconsin. Boruch’s mother died after her car went into a lake in June. Investigators called the incident suspicious at the time. Buroch had told authorities at the time he was in the car with his mother and managed to escape. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department asked Madison police to make the arrest.
