Badgers head to Big Ten play 10-2

The Wisconsin Badgers wrapped up the non-conference portion of their

schedule with a 10-2 record. 

Coppin State opened last night’s game in Madison in a zone defense and Jon Leuer was a zone buster for the Badgers.  Leuer hit four 3-point shots in the opening 3-minutes to lead the Badgers to a 80-56 win.  Leuer finished with 19 points.

The Badgers shot 50% from beyond the arc in the first half and 44% for the game.

Wisconsin opens Big Ten Conference play on Tuesday night against Minnesota at the Kohl Center.
